Geothermal energy
In cooperation with major companies in the sector of geothermal activity, Mechanologiki is involved exclusively in the first of many following geothermal projects in Greece..
In this specific sector we provide high consultancy services, civil engineering, mechanical and electrical services with the support of leading companies in the geothermal field.
We have successfully developed and delivered the first data for Milos island (3 wells, 1.500,00m depth, 280 ̊C-320 ̊C).
In addition, we support mechanical engineering, iron structures, piping, electrical constructions.
Along with the introduction and development of geothermal energy, we undercover full turn-key projects such as compact power solutions with the use of low enthalpy and waste heat recovery.
Waste heat management
In cooperation with Ormat we offer the most advanced ORC (ORMAT’S AIR-COOLED BINARY CYCLE).
- Binary plants are ideal for geothermal reservoirs to maximize sustainability and return on investment
- Binary plants maximize sustainability by reinjecting 100% of the geothermal fluid, maintaining reservoir pressures
- Return on Investment (ROI) is maximized due to much lower operating costs and higher resilience to changing reservoir conditions thereby maintaining higher efficiency over the long term
- Binary technology can be utilized on a wide range of resources from low enthalpy to high
Compact energy solutions
Using geothermal energy and low enthalpy we offer compact, energy solutions. More specifically a megawatt-level prefabricated energy station in a standard 20-foot container using a Ground Source Heat Pump solution (GSHP).
We can satisfy up to 100% energy needs for large residential or commercial properties by providing heating, cooling and hot water with our carbon free energy solutions.
Suitable for greenhouses, food industry and fish farms.

Energy storage
Our energy storage systems provide energy storage and output management in power generation. The battery technology and renewable energy power generation technology form a joint system. Through the high-level consistency of cells and the powerful computing, we enables the power generation to restore a stable power grid, optimize the power output curve, reduce solar and wind curtailment, provide system inertia and the functions of frequency and peak modulation, increase the proportion of renewable energy in total power generation, and optimize the energy structure.
Our energy storage systems provide smart load management for power transmission, distribution, modulate frequency and peak in time according to power grid loads. Our battery energy storage system has the functions of capacity increasing and expansion, backup power supply, etc. It can adopt more renewable energy in power transmission and distribution in order to ensure the safe, stable, efficient and low-cost operation of the power grid.
Sampling Systems
Mechanologiki is the exclusive representative of the German company Dr. Thiedig, in Greece. Dr. Thiedig is one of the leading companies in sampling and analysing systems all around the world with more than 5.000 customers worldwide and more than 2.500 power plants already equipped . It provides special know- how in high pressure and analysing technology, complete sampling systems ready for installation for all measuring points in the cycle, incl. analysing equipment.
Moreover, its product range consists of high-pressure cooler, max. 400 bar, 550°C, high-pressure valves, max. 600 bar, 550°C, analysers for the water and steam cycle in power plants and analysers for the water and steam cycle in power plants and chemical industry (oxygen, hydrazine, silicate, sodium, conductivity, pH), accessories (filters, regenerating equipment, safety system), analysers for the beverage industry (oxygen, dissolved CO2) and services such as engineering for sampling systems
